VOLUNTEER SIGN UPS AND BARTER OPPORTUNITIES ARE NOW OPEN.  PRIORITY FOR BARTERS IS GIVEN TO RETURNING BARTERERS.  IF YOU ARE A RETURNING BARTERER, PLEASE CONTACT MELISSA NOW TO REQUEST YOUR BARTER. 

TO SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER, CLICK HERE.  This will take you to our "Online Signup" where you can create a profile or get into your existing profile.  Once you are in your profile, you can choose the "Volunteer Scheduler" button to choose your shifts.

Volunteers shop FIRST, find the best deals, and have the best selection.  Volunteers earn 70% as consignors!
Volunteer preview sale is September 29th.

Please no spouses, friends or children allowed at the volunteer preview sales, only one person per pass.  WE CANNOT ALLOW VOLUNTEERS TO SHOP BEFORE THEIR DESIGNATED PRESALE TIME.  PRESALE TIMES ARE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED.  NO EXCEPTIONS! 

PLEASE BE AWARE OF OUR VOLUNTEER POLICY:  If you are a consignor/volunteer and you do not show up to work your shift or inform us after the start of the sale, your percentage will be reduced to 50%.  You can keep your percentage at 70% if you find someone to work your shift for you and inform us of the change.  Please make sure you are able to work your shifts when you sign up.  Thanks.

Volunteer Schedule:
Choose 1-3 or more shifts to work...the more shifts you work, the earlier you shop!  Shifts are subject to availability.  Please check the volunteer scheduler for current openings.  If you want to be a volunteer, but don't see an option that fits your schedule, please contact Melissa at melissa@jbfsale.com. 

Tuesday, September 28th:
8 am - 12 noon
12 noon - 4 pm

Wednesday, September 29th:
7 - 11 am
11 am - 3 pm (ONLY 4 & 8 HR. VOLUNTEERS MAY WORK THIS SHIFT)

Thursday, September 30th: Open to the Public 
8 am - 12 noon
12 noon - 4 pm

Friday, October 1st: Open to the Public
8 am - 12 noon
12 noon - 4 pm

Saturday, October 2nd:  1/2 Price Sale
9 am - 1 pm
12 - 4 pm
4 - 10 pm (EARNS A 12 HR. PASS)

BARTERING OPPORTUNITIES
Please contact Melissa if you are interested in signing up
for any of these opportunities.  All barters must be picked up and delivered by the barterer.  Barters are filled in order of request.
(Highlighted tasks have been taken.)

1. Post our event on Craig's List every 4 days for 3 weeks (August 22-September 11) under Baby & Kids and search for postings that would be great items at the sale and email those people to let them know about the JBF event.  This must be a previous consignor with experience on Craig's List - 12 hour pass

2. Post our event on Craig's List every 4 days for 3 weeks (September 12-October 2) under Baby & Kids and search for postings that would be great items at the sale and email those people to let them know about the JBF event.  This event would need to be posted on September 30-October 2 during the sale.  This must be a previous consignor with experience on Craig's List - 12 hour pass

3. Assemble 500 coupon packs - 12 hour pass

4. Post 5 yard signs every Friday after 12 noon and remove on Monday before 11 am for 6 weeks prior to sale.  We will provide you with 5 major corners near your home - 12 hour pass 

5. Gain permission from Monument School District 38 to distribute cards in students' backpacks in all district schools and deliver cards to schools - 12 hour pass

6. Gain permission from Academy School District 20 to distribute cards in students' backpacks in all district schools and deliver cards to schools - 12 hour pass

7. Gain permission from Falcon School District 49 to distribute cards in students' backpacks in all district schools and deliver cards to schools - 12 hour pass

8. Gain permission from Colorado Springs School District 11 to distribute cards in students' backpacks in all district schools and deliver cards to schools - 12 hour pass

9. Helpful husband to set up for event on Tuesday, September 28th from 8 am-12 pm - 8 hour pass

10. Helpful husband to breakdown event on Saturday, October 2nd from 4-8 pm - 8 hour pass 

11. Helpful husband to act as a runner for large items at our presale on September 29th from 4:30-8:30pm - 4 hour pass

12. Helpful husband to act as a runner for large items at our sale on September 30th from 9 am-1 pm - 4 hour pass

13. Helpful husband to load truck at Gleneagle storage unit for 2 hours on Monday evening, September 27th - 4 hour pass

14. Helpful husband to unload truck at Gleneagle storage unit for 2 hours on Sunday, October 3rd at 11am - 4 hour pass

15. Gain permission from 10 daycare centers to distribute cards to all of their families and deliver those cards to the centers - 4 hour pass

16. Pass out 300 flyers/cards to church groups, homeschool groups, etc. Must specify groups you will be passing cards out to and must gain prior permission when necessary. - 8 hour pass

17. Print and assemble the binder of recent recalls.  We will provide the link to the recall information and you will print all information (black and white is fine) and assemble it into a 3-ring binder separated by category - 8 hour pass 

18. Make 500 copies of sale forms/flyers and cut/staple if necessary - 8 hour pass 

19. Make volunteer reminder calls (approx. 150 calls) - 8 hour pass   

20. Post 5 dated yard signs on Thursday, September 30th (AM) and remove Saturday, October 2nd (PM).  These signs can be picked up on Tuesday or Wednesday during dropoff - 4 hour pass 

21. Marketing swap coordinator (contact Melissa for more details) - 12 hour pass
